Kim Kardashian faces backlash for ‘tone-deaf’ Halloween decorations

Kim Kardashian found herself under fire for her choice of Halloween decorations this year.

With skulls and bones hanging from the ceiling, Kim had decided to make her Calabasas mansion a full haunted house this year.

"I really went all out this year," she wrote in the caption but this commitment to the scary season has not been received well, with critics calling Kim and her decorations “so out of touch with reality."

In the now-deleted video, the mum of three walked her followers through her full set-up which included hands protruding from the ground and cobwebs covering the walls.

Yet it didn't stop there as there were the tables covered in severed hands, bloody eyeballs and what looked like toxic chemicals.

Just imagine trying to make your way to the kitchen for a late-night snack and having to navigate through all that, you might lose your appetite before you make it to the fridge.

While her commitment to the holiday was impressive, many people weren't impressed by the reality star's decorations, branding her "tone-deaf".

"This is so appallingly senseless, not to mention tasteless, given the actual horror occurring in the world right now," one person wrote.

Another commenter agreed, writing: "You guys went too far, it’s actually uncomfortable to watch," while another commenter echoed this sentiment, writing: “Tone-deaf to what some parts of the world are going through, money doesn’t buy taste or morals.”

A fourth pointed out that “the lack of consciousness and compassion is baffling."

It seems that all of the harsh words got to Kim as she later deleted the video.
