Kim Kardashian has opened up about her struggles to become pregnant for a second time and the fear that she may not conceive naturally again.
The 34-year-old and her husband Kanye West welcomed their daughter North last year, however Kim revealed that baby North was a miracle as doctors had advised the star that she would not be able to get pregnant naturally.
“A few years ago I was told I could never get pregnant,” she told Elle UK. “Three different doctors told me the same thing, which is why I wanted to have my eggs frozen. I was just about to do that when I found out I was pregnant with North.”
She went on to say that they had been trying for another child, and added that she remains optimistic and would not rule out IVF.
“I want a boy and another girl,” she said. “I want it to start happening straight away. I loved being part of a huge family – and I want that for North. We’d do IVF if nothing happens, but we both want to keep trying naturally.”
Kim also revealed that she had low self-confidence as a teenager and struggled with body image.
“I was unhappy with my body, I developed really early. Every night I would sit in the bath and cry, I prayed my boobs would stop growing,” she revealed, adding that her father helped her to “understand my self-worth.”
