It has long been known that Kimberley Walsh and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini are besties.
Kimberley recently announced that Cheryl would be one of her eight bridesmaids, and now she has come to her BFF’s defense in a rant against Louis Walsh.
Cheryl will be Kimberley’s bridesmaid.
Speaking to Fabulous magazine, the former Girls Aloud star slammed Louis for his recent comments about Cheryl, branding him “attention-seeking”.
She said: “Louis will say whatever it takes to get him in the press and nothing surprises me. I don’t really have much time for him. I don’t owe him anything.”
Kimberley is set to marry Justin Scott later this year.
The 33-year-old went on to suggest that Louis starts tiffs with people just to make headlines.
She added: “He’d turn on anyone at any time if it meant it got him into the press.”
The band reunited in 2013 for the Girls Aloud Reunion Tour.
But the singer and bride-to-be didn’t stop there.
She went on to lambaste the music mogul’s career, predicting that he will fade into obscurity now that he has left the X Factor.
She said: “He doesn’t have any successful bands any more. X Factor was the only thing that was keeping him out there, so hopefully there won’t be any interest in what he’s got to say now.”
