Kylie Jenner is on the end of a lot of backlash over the last few days after she had an Astroworld-themed birthday party for her children.
Celebrating her daughter Stormi’s fifth birthday and her son Aire’s first, Kylie went to the extremes to pull off a party like no other – and that party was Astroworld themed.
While there were some gorgeous decorations and fun activities for the children to do, other decorations put out left many with a thing or two to say.
The giant balloon arch resembled Stormi’s face, while other decorations clearly were inspired by Kylie’s ex Travis Scott’s latest album.
While the same decorations were used for Stormi’s second and third birthdays, many are wondering if Kylie is being insensitive to the victims of the Astroworld tragedy.
Back in 2021, ten people were killed and 300 were injured during Travis Scott’s set at the festival, with a nine year old boy being the youngest to lose his life.
Fans have now slammed the reality star on Twitter over her decision, with many claiming the party seems to be in back taste.
One person wrote: “Kylie and Travis choosing astroworld looking decor for their childrens party… yeah they not seeing heaven.”
Another said: “kylie using astroworld branding for her children’s birthday party is a bit scary to me.”
A third wrote: “I don’t think it’s controversial to say that basing your child’s birthday party aesthetic on a concert in which people were crushed to death is in poor taste. What’s wrong with Kylie Jenner?!”
And a fourth added: “Why did Kylie taught that erecting her daughters inflatable head to mimic that of her father at Astroworld was a good idea? And it was for a birthday party.”
