Kylie Jenner files paperwork to trademark ‘Rhiiiise n Shiiiine’ lyric as well as the words ‘Rise and Shine’

It’s like when Taylor Swift trademarked “this sick beat” – except better.

Kylie Jenner has filed paperwork to trademark her iconic, ahem, lyric “Rhiiiiise n Shiiiine” as well as the words “Rise and Shine.”

Can’t say the gal doesn’t work hard.

The greeting gained popularity last week when a clip of Kylie entering daughter Stormi’s room in the morning went viral.

“Rhiiiiiise n Shiiiiine” sings Kylie as she appears suddenly beside Stormi’s crib, akin to the doomed figure you spot down the end of your bed during sleep paralysis.

The one second clip has since garnered much notoriety around the world, as people question why Kylie had never shared her vocals up until this moment… and lament the fact that Stormi was unfortunately already clearly awake when her mother entered the room.

In fact, people are so into the whole debacle that Kylie has decided to file paperwork to trademark the words – just to make sure that she capitalises off this as much as she humanly can.

According to Page Six, Jenner’s application covers the domains of clothing such as tops, bottoms, swimwear, and underwear, as well as accessories like socks, belts, footwear, and hats etc.

The paperwork, filed with the US Patent and Trademark Office, also covered some items within her Kylie Cosmetics and Kylie Ski companies, but did not specify which.

May as well cover as bases, like.

Kylie has already released her own merch bearing the iconic phrase – two hoodies that do in fact look like they were designed by Stormi herself, but hey, who are we to judge?

They’ve probably sold millions already.
