"I'm happy, for some weird reason"

Kylie Jenner has spoken in-depth about the Tristan-Jordyn saga almost 8 months after the scandal hit the headlines. Back in February 2019, Kylie Jenner's best friend, Jordyn Woods apparently hooked up with Khloe Kardashian's partner and baby daddy Tristan Thompson at an after-party in his LA home. The news which sent shockwaves through the entertainment world caused absolute uproar in the Kardashian household leading Khloe and Tristan to go their separate ways. But, Khloe and Tristan weren't the only split as Jordyn was living with Khloe's sister, Kylie Jenner at the time, leaving Kylie in a sticky position. Asking Jordyn to move out, the pair's friendship came crumbling down as did all of Jordyn's work with the family and Good American (Khloe's jean company). And now, Kylie has properly spoken about all the drama for the first time. In the teaser trailer for this week's KUWTK, Kylie admits that she thinks a friendship split "needed to happen" as she saw Jordyn like a "security blanket".

"I feel like this whole situation needed to happen. "For a reason… for me, for her, for you, for everybody.

"She was my security blanket, she lived with me. We did everything together, and I feel like there’s a part of me that needed to grow without her.

"Sometimes people are there for certain reasons at certain times in your life, and then not there for others. Obviously, I love her. Right now, she’s kind of doing her thing, I’m doing my thing.

"I’m happy, for some weird reason."
