Easily, the most talked about moment of the Oscars 2019 – when Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga took to the stage to sing Shallow, the hit track from their flick, A Star Is Born, it’s safe to say their steamy and very intimate performance sent rumours flying, yet again, that their onscreen romance could potentially be a real one too.

Gaga took to the stage to thank her co-star, saying:

“Bradley, there is not a single person on the planet that could’ve sung this song with me but you. Thank you for believing in us, thank you so much.”

Gaga has become the first woman in history to win an Oscar, Grammy, Golden Globe, and BAFTA all in the same year, and as she goes to accept each award, it’s clear that all her love and appreciation is for one person – Bradley.

Sharing an image of their performance from Sunday night, Gaga reminisced on the moment saying:

“Nothing could be more special than sharing this moment at the Oscars with a true friend and artistic genius.”

Speaking in the press room after their performance, the Edge of Glory singer recalled what Bradley said to her ahead of taking to the stage.

“’One of the hardest things in life is to be brave enough to be yourself. I wish everyone that is going to that celebration to feel a joy inside of them.’

“That’s actually what Bradley said to me yesterday, right before we did our last rehearsal for this performance of ‘Shallow,’. He said, ‘Let’s just drop a little bit of joy.’ And I said, ‘Okay.’ And turns out, joy did a whole lot for me,” she revealed.

And what a performance they put on. You can check it out again here.
