Lady Gaga shares first look at new movie, House of Gucci
This looks iconic.
Pop sensation Lady Gaga has given fans a snippet of what to expect in her upcoming feature film House of Gucci.
The Born This Way singer shared a snap from set with her 46.5 million Instagram followers last night.
The picture shows a chic Gaga next to actor Adam Driver against a snowy, mountainous background.
The singer captioned it "Signore e Signora Gucci", which is the Italian for Mr and Mrs Gucci.
Ridley Scott's upcoming film follows the story of Patrizia Reggiani, played by Gaga. In 1998, Reggiani was charged with organising the assassination of her ex-husband Maurizio Gucci. The Italian socialite served 18 years in prison for her involvement in his death.
Adam Driver will play the ill-fated head of the Italian fashion house. Last year, Driver received an Oscar nomination for his role in Marriage Story.
House of Gucci is scheduled to be released later this year. Al Pacino and Jared Leto will also star in the film.
The upcoming feature will mark Gaga's second leading role in a film. The singer was nominated for Best Actress at the 2019 Academy Awards. She also won the Oscar for Best Original Song for her track Shallow.
Filming began on location in Rome last month. Lady Gaga was on set when her dogwalker was shot last month.
Ryan Fisher said he had a "very close call with death" following the shooting. He is still in recovery.
Two of Gaga's dogs were stolen in the attack but were returned later. The singer offered a $500,000 award for the safe return of her French bulldogs Koji and Gustav. She also called the dogwalker a "forever hero", and thanked him for trying to protect the dogs during the attack.
She wrote: "You risked your life to fight for our family. You're forever a hero."
