Laura Whitmore is receiving praise for highlighting the realities of breastfeeding on Instagram.
The presenter posted a stunning photo of herself all glammed up for filming, with the next slide showing her dress inside-out. Nursing pads were stuck to the chest area.
“Going backless, precautions taken,” she wrote, having leak-proofed herself as much as possible.
The comments were filled with praise from other mothers, with many writing the likes of “mum life,” “love this realness” and “I remember those days well.”

This actually isn’t the first time Laura has shared the reality behind her ‘new mam’ glam.
Back in April, she posted another inside-out snap of one of her Celebrity Juice looks, in which breast pads once again featured.

The 36-year-old welcomed her first child, a baby girl, with husband Iain Stirling earlier this year and has been sharing the occasional insight into their family life since. A week after confirming her daughter’s arrival, she urged followers not to compare the bodies or experiences of new mothers.
“You should never compare yourself to anyone else as your journey is specific to you. Stop comparing bodies and situations. My body is not here for your comparison so please don’t judge it,” she wrote at the time.
