She's set to make a serious income.

Not only did Laura Whitmore land a serious new gig but she’s said to have landed a very decent pay check too.

Taking on the role from Caroline Flack who has stepped down following assault charges, Laura Whitmore is said to make even more cash, landing herself a “six figure deal”.

Caroline Flack was reportedly paid £600,000 (€704,000) for the gig while the Bray native is expected to make even more for taking up the role last minute and becoming the new face of the winter series.

Laura Whitmore’s pay out from the series is also going to be much larger than her partner’s and voice of the show, Iain Stirling.

Iain is rumoured to make £100,000 (€117,000) per series. But he admitted he’s “thrilled” for Laura after apparently being one of the driving forces behind her securing the new role.

Breaking the news on Instagram last week, Laura shared a photo of her own trademark Love Island water bottle saying:

“I am a massive fan of this show. I’ve never been to a Love Island villa, and I can’t wait to get in there to meet all the new islanders looking for love. The Love Island team are the best in the business… including the voice and heart of the show, Iain. He thought he was getting a holiday away from me…not a chance!”

Laura also noted that she has been in contact with Caroline Flack who gave her blessing to take over the role.

“She has been very kind to me and strongly pushed me for this role. I’ve watched her host every series and know I have big boots to fill. I will try and do it justice,” the MTV star added.

We’re excited to see Laura take on this role. Love Island returns to screens next month.
