Beyoncé is back in town.
The singer, known to her millions of adoring fans as Queen Bey, will play Croke Park tonight and lots of people are absolutely buzzing for it.
We, on the other hand, simply can’t stop thinking about the time Beyoncé visited in 2010 and absolutely bamboozled Radio Kerry host Weeshie Fogarty.
Fogarty, who had clearly never heard of Beyoncé before, took about five attempts to try and say Beyoncé’s name correctly – getting progressively further away from the correct pronunciation the longer he went on.
His colleague then started discussing Beyoncé only to be interrupted by Fogarty, who asked “Who’s he?”
A true highlight of Irish broadcasting history.
