Liam Hemsworth explains why he and Miley Cyrus called off their engagement

On, off and they now appear to be back on again.

Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus were the Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris of 2013 and when they called off their engagement, fans went into meltdown. In a recent interview with GQ Australia, Hunger Games star Liam spoke about why they broke up. Chatting to the publication, he said:

“Of course it was hard, man. But at the time we were going in different directions and it’s just what needed to happen. "We were both super young and it was a good decision at the time – we both needed that".

Answering the all-important question regarding if they're actually back together, Liam all but confirmed it:

"People will figure it out, they already have...They're not dumb".

Then the big break-up came, they started dating each other but none of those romances worked out with the couple reuniting last year. Dare I say it, this Hollywood love story might actually be a little bit cute.
