Lisa Riley announced her engagement this evening and the congratulatory messages have been rolling in since.
The 41-year-old, who previously played Mandy Dingle in Emmerdale and also presented You’ve Been Framed for a time, shared her happy news on both Instagram and Twitter this evening.
Describing her partner Al as the love of her life, her soulmate and best friend, she thanked all the people who have sent well wishes.
The post reads:
“Yes I can now confirm the rumours are true….I have got engaged…my soul mate and best mate and love of my life Al is the best thing to have ever happened to me….we have absolutely NO date set for ANY wedding day, just happy together…zero fuss,just firmed our togetherness.,and got sick of having to keep switching fingers with my ring. SERIOUSLY OVER THE MOON!!! Thanks for your messages [sic]”.
A regular Loose Women panellist, Lisa has penned a number of books describing how she lost twelve stone over the course of three years.
According to reports, Ali is a musician and the couple tend to keep their relationship out of the spotlight with many describing him as her ‘secret’ boyfriend.
Lisa also revealed that they have not yet set a date for the wedding but they’re happy to have ‘firmed their togetherness’.
