We have no doubt that there is a long of queue of men who would do anything to take her on a date but so far, she hasn’t found anyone who has ticked all the boxes.

That’s right, jungle star Ashley Roberts is on the lookout for a man and it’s not just a quick fling that she wants.

The former Pussycat Dolls singer has apparently been single for three years but now wants a serious relationship.

We can't understand why the singer hasn't found her perfect guy yet.

“I’ve dated here and there, but now I finally feel ready to be in a committed relationship. I won’t go out searching for it, though,” she explained.

“I’m focusing on myself and my career, but I’m confident that when the time is right, the right guy will come in.”

And it sounds as if some men might be in with a better chance of wooing Ashley as she told Hello! magazine that she is fond of the British accent and wants a guy with a sense of humour.

She has been linked to Dec, of Ant and Dec, as well as Mark Wright.

Sounds a little like Declan Donnelly, to whom she was linked to when this year’s I’m A Celebrity ended. Then again he is known to be reluctant to settle down. Although we think he’d make an exception on this occasion!

As to whether she would date someone in showbiz, she said: “I don’t mind what industry my next boyfriend is involved in – love knows no boundaries.”
