“Looking Pretty Hideous” – Katie Hopkins Takes On Lily Allen In Another Twitter Feud

Lily Allen is the latest celebrity to have a war of words with controversial former Apprentice contestant, Katie Hopkins. In an interview with Heat magazine, Katie said that she lost interest in Allen when she briefly removed "herself from the spotlight because she wanted to be a mother, [which] largely involved gaining two stone and looking pretty hideous." "So then she decided that was boring and now she wasn't going to be a mother any more, she was going to be a singer. "Like Peaches (Geldof), she is just famous for having a famous dad." Lily responded to Katie's comments via a series of tweets yesterday, saying: "Katie Hopkins: I am not famous for having a famous dad, I doubt that most of my fan base have a clue who my father is. "Yes, after tragically losing a child so late into my pregnancy I may have gained a few pounds. I am one of many that find comfort in food. "The two pregnancies that followed were terrifying because of what had happened before and I was pretty much on bed rest for 20 months. "I wasn't exercising because I didn't want to take any risks, and, funnily enough, the survival of my children felt more important than being thin." Lily continued to say: "Can somebody tell me what Katie Hopkins does except go on telly slagging off girls half her age? "Katie [if] looks are obviously so important to you. There's always plastic surgery ya know. Maybe they could sew your mouth up while they fix the rest of you. "Oh, and whilst 'weighing me up', Fat shaming , you were a stone out, I gained 3 not 2. And hey, look I'm on the cover of Elle this month!" However, Lily then realised that she was playing into Katie's hands and vowed to delete her tweets. Lily posted the below photo to her Instagram account last night with the caption, "Just going to the shop, want anything Katie?" Wearing a black dress and leopard print heels, the Smile singer's slim figure can be clearly seen.
