Love Island 2023: The first Irish contestant has been announced

The first Irish contestant for Love Island’s summer series has been announced.

22-year-old Catherine Agbaje from Dublin has joined the cast of the popular reality series.

Speaking ahead of the show’s launch, Catherine said, “I’m fun, I’m flirty, I’m just never boring. I can chat your ears off!”

The 22-year-old said she is a fun and loving character. She said her family and friends would describe her as someone with a lot of “love to give”.

“I’m always smiling, I’m always happy, I’m always laughing. You’ll always see me with a smile on my face,” Catherine added.

Catherine has two degrees and works as a Commercial Real Estate Agent in Dublin.

“My teeth are real, people always think they are veneers! I had braces when I was younger. I have two degrees, I have my undergrad and my masters in Psychology and Sociology and Real Estate.”

Love Island returns for its tenth series on Monday 5th June at 9 pm on Virgin Media Two and Virgin Media Player
