The former reality star seemed to have the world at his feet after he and Dani Dyer won Love Island back in 2018 but behind the scenes he was struggling.
Jack has since revealed he was struggling with crippling anxiety at the time, and self-medicated with drugs including cocaine, as well as Xanax and diazepam.
The 31-year-old said that it was his addiction that ended his relationship with Dani as he couldn't be "the one" for her.
Speaking to The Sun about his former girlfriend, Jack said, "Look, I love her, we had a fantastic time.

"She is an amazing person. I’m so happy for her and Jarrod – she’s got two or three kids now I think and that’s amazing. She’ll be an amazing mum. I just clearly would never have been the person for her – for that – at this stage."
It was his mother who got him help as his addiction grew by tricking him into going to rehab when he was high.
The night before he went to get help he had taken a high quantity of sleeping and anti-anxiety tablets and was completely unaware of where he was or what he was doing.
His mum, Samantha, told him to go pack a bag, suggesting that he "Go away for a while."
"I got in there and then realised 's*** I'm not coming out of here now.' I started kicking off, shouting 'I don't need to be here, I'm not like that, I don't have a problem.'"

Jack has now been clean since August, in his longest drug-free spell since he left the Love Island villa.
The reality star revealed that he wouldn't be here today if he hadn't received help saying, "If I had carried on how I was, even up to six months ago, I would definitely be dead. Without a shadow of a doubt."
