Love Island star Jay Younger has claimed he is coming back to the villa after news broke of Jacques' sudden exit from the series. ITV confirmed on Tuesday that Jacques had decided to leave the villa after Adam Collard returned to the show after four years. After the news broke, Jay, who was dumped from the island only a matter of days ago, shared a post to say he's heading back to Mallorca. As you'll remember, Jay chose to couple up with Paige, stealing her from Jacques and wanting to get to know her, but it ultimately didn't work out and she stuck with Jacques. Joking that with Jacques now out of the picture, he is heading back to crack on with Paige. Sharing a photo of the inside of a plane, Jay tweeted: “When you just touch down and have to fly straight back in #ByeJacques #LoveIsland”. https://twitter.com/JayYounger_/status/1546840870841995266 While ITV are yet to confirm if this is true, and he's like just joking, fans are completely on board for his return. One fan wrote: “If Jay goes back in could you imagine Davide’s reaction, it would be cuter than any Casa Amor reunion the show has had lol”. Another person said: “Now why would you tweet something so confusing and get my hopes up about Jay going back into the villa”. A third person added: “This would be epic plz say this is true if not I’m guna cry for the rest of the year!” According to a statement from producers, Jacques left the villa on Tuesday. A spokesperson confirmed his departure saying: “Jacques has made the decision to leave the Villa. He will explain his reasons to the Islanders during tonight’s episode. “We fully support his decision and look forward to seeing what’s next for Jacques.” Jacques entered the villa as a bombshell and as contestant Gemma's ex boyfriend. He later coupled up with Paige.
