The couple are rumoured to be “devastated” that things ended like this. Having felt a serious strain on their relationship in the past three weeks, due to both work commitments and constant travelling, the pair felt it was best they part ways.

A source close to Kem and Amber told The Metro that their heavy schedules were having a negative effect on their relationship and leading them to constantly argue.

21-year-old Kem Cetinay met 20-year-old Amber Davis on the hit ITV show Love Island. Becoming a firm favourite with the public, the two went on to winning the series and being crowned Love Island 2017 winners.

The two, who now hope to remain good friends released this joint statement:

“It is with sadness that we have decided to separate. We fell in love in the villa and want to thank all the fans of the show for supporting us. Our lives have changed beyond recognition over the past few months and our hectic work schedules have made it difficult to make things work. We still have a lot of love for each other and will remain good friends.”
