Congrats.

Congratulations are in order for Love Island star Malin Andersson who has given birth to a baby girl with her partner Jared.

Welcoming her baby daughter last Friday, she revealed that she and Jared are “completely in love”, but aren’t announcing the baby’s name just yet.

Confirming the news to Mail Online, Malin’s representative said: “We are super excited to share that Malin gave birth to a healthy baby girl last Friday 28th January on her due date.

“She and her partner are completely in love and are taking this time as a family to enjoy the baby bubble but she can’t wait to share more with everyone soon.”

Malin announced she was expecting back in August, telling her Instagram followers that her pregnancy was a “new beginning and a happy ending”.

“Everything I’ve ever wanted, everything I visualised. A solid partner in my life, who has been there in the background – witnessed my life over the past four years and has stuck by me as a friend.. and now a lover. This couldn’t feel any more right – and we’re now bringing a beautiful soul into this world,” Malin wrote.

“My heart feels electric writing this, my eyes tearing up.. because I can promise you all there was once upon a time I never thought I could experience this. I was wrong. It just wasn’t the right time. All the pain I’ve endured has led to this very moment.. my own little family.”

While revealing her pregnancy, she paid tribute to her late daughter who sadly passed away in 2019 at only four and a half weeks old, as well as her late mum.

She added: “Mumma – I know you’re looking down with bright eyes and a big smile. Baby Consy – protect us from above.”

Baby Consy was born seven weeks premature with a rare heart condition in January 2019, with Malin keeping fans updated on her health at the time.
