Shots fired.
Made in Chelsea star and author of cook book “Eat Me Vegan”, Lucy Watson got into a heated row on Twitter last night after she said: “if you are against animal cruelty, like most people, then you should be vegan”.
If you’re against animal cruelty, like most people, then you should be vegan.

People were quick to respond, telling Lucy that often the case is due to medical problems, lack of access to vegan foods and religious and cultural reasons amongst others.
Weird cos I don’t see vegans around the world dropping dead.

Wow, you are deluded if you think making them have babies, then taking them away from them so you can steal their milk is the best life for “your girls”.

Even British baker and author Ruby Tandoh got involved…
there are so many reasons for not being vegan: disordered eating, lack of access to vegan foods, disability, medical problems, poverty and the countless social and cultural reasons why we might eat a certain way to establish our place in a group/family/society. this is unhelpful. https://t.co/dSiesoR2tk

I see your book contains promotion of meat & dairy products… wouldn’t be why you’re taking so much offence would it

And so it continues…
