Look, we get a great kick off the things that Yanks love about Ireland (red hair, the rain, Temple Bar) - but we have to say that we feel a little insulted by the idea that someone would change their name because it's 'too Irish'.
Macauley Culkin has said that he's fed up of his very Irish middle name and is going about changing it.
Appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the former child star revealed that he was leaving the choice of his new middle name up to his fans, who can cast their votes online.
"I was staring at my passport recently and I was looking over my middle name," Macauley explained to host Jimmy.
"My current middle name is Carson. But you have to say it [Irish accent] Macaulay Carson Culkin. It's very Irish.
"I thought, I should probably spruce up my name a little bit.
"You can vote on my new middle name; we've narrowed it down to five options."
First of all, we're not sure that Carson even is all that Irish but we're seriously rolling our eyes at the names that he could end up with.
They are: 'Shark Week', 'TheMcRibIsBack', 'Publicity Stunt', 'Kieran' (his brother's name) and 'Macaulay Culkin' (so his full name would be Macaulay Macaulay Culkin Culkin).
We'd usually have great time for Macauley, especially at this time of year, but we can't get behind this.
