It can’t be easy having a mum and dad in the spotlight – a fact that Brian McFadden and Kerry Katona’s two daughters probably know well.

And now the former Westlife star has revealed that Molly, his 15-year-old eldest child, is moving to Ireland in order to focus on her studies.

He told OK magazine this week: “My oldest is going to school in Dublin in September, so she’s probably going to live with my mum and dad.

“I think it’ll be easier for Molly to concentrate on her exams there. It’s going to make things harder now for us all to be together, but you have to make sacrifices.”

The duo, who married in Ireland in 2002 but split two-and-a-half years later, have another daughter – Lilly Sue – who is 14.

Atomic Kitten star Kerry, 36, also has children Heidi, 10, and Max, eight – from her marriage to Max Croft. She and her third husband, George Kay, furthermore have a daughter Dylan-Jorge, two.

As well as his marriage to Ms Katona, Brian was previously engaged to Delta Goodrem. He was married married to Vogue Williams for three years, but they announced their separation 18 months ago.
