Malin Andersson’s International Women’s Day post will honestly break your heart

Rebecca O'Keeffe

Malin Andersson

So tough for her.

Today we celebrate women all over the world.

Women are amazing, and go through incredible things every day.

Sometimes the things we go through are heartbreaking.

Late last year, Malin Andersson gave birth to a baby girl.

Baby Consy was born seven weeks premature and was being treated at Great Ormond Street hospital, but sadly passed away on 22 January.

And now, on International Women’s Day, Malin is opening up about her post partum body.

She shared a heart-wrenching post on Instagram, where she spoke candidly.

“Happy International Woman’s Day. I’m out here in Dubai, and thought I’d share a pic of my postpartum body with you.”

“Here you can see my loose skin and pouch where my scar is from my emergency c-section. My saggy boobs also which had milk in them!”

“I’m so proud to say my beautiful baby came out of me, and this is what I’m left with. No baby just this beautiful scar to remind me.”

“Every body is beautiful. No matter what you look like. All our body’s have a story to tell.”

We applaud Malin Andersson for opening up in this way.
