Huge congratulations are in order for Marc Jacobs and his boyfriend, Charly Defrancesco, after they got engaged this week.
The designer confirmed the news on Instagram with a sweet video, showing exactly how the proposal unfolded.
Jacobs managed to distract his candlemaker fiancé with a flat mob performance set to the 1986 hit Kiss, by Prince.

He popped the question at the fast casual eatery Chipotle on Wednesday night.
Both grooms-to-be uploaded the proposal to Instagram, thanking the creative services studio Plural NYC for helping plan the big moment.
The video shows the fashion designer getting down on one knee, as Charly nods ‘yes’.
As the dancers cheer, the couple are then seen kissing and hugging.
Jacobs captioned his post:

He went on to thank everyone, before giving a shout out to his ‘ride or die fiancé’, Charly.
Meanwhile, Defrancesco captioned his version of the video:

The couple had double the reason to celebrate on Wednesday, as it also happened to be Defrancesco’s birthday, too.
The designer shared a sweet social media post earlier in the day, calling him the “love of his life”.
