“We could get the whole gang back together.”

Margot Robbie has told how she would be up for reprising her role on Neighbours.

The actress, who received her first-ever Oscar nomination on Tuesday, played Donna Freedman on the Aussie soap from 2008 and 2011.

And, as she told WHO magazine, she would be up for returning to Ramsay Street one day.

She said:

“Yeah, I think I would, totally.

“We could get the whole gang back together, I’d be in.”

The Wolf of Wall Street star has been celebrating her Oscar nomination for her role as Tony Harding in I, Tonya.

She was at Australian premiere of the movie when the Academy Awards nominations began to air in Los Angeles.

Sticking around into the early hours of the morning, Margot recalled how there were three huge celebrations.

The first, when I, Tonya’s editor, Tatiana S. Reigel, was nominated. The second, when Allison Janney was nominated for best supporting actress.

She told the Sydney Morning Herald:

“Best editing was the first one to be announced we were like ‘oh my goodness’.

“Then Allison got announced and we all started going crazy.

“Then someone plugged their phone into the DJ booth so it was really loud just when they announced my name.

“The whole room just went rahhhhhhh and we all started screaming and my mum was crying. It was amazing.”

The actress is nominated in the category alongside Frances McDormand (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri), Saoirse Ronan (Lady Bird), Sally Hawkins (The Shape of Water) and Meryl Streep (The Post).

And while she expects that the 90th Academy Awards will be “wild and exciting”, the Whiskey Tango Foxtrot star says she’s not holding her breath for a win.

She told the publication:

“Have you seen who I’m up against?

“I’m definitely not holding my breath for a win.

“Being nominated absolutely is enough. In fact, kind of ideal because going up on stage would be absolutely terrifying. This is already the best it could ever get for me.”
