Has Matthew Perry already found love again only days after his split from fiancée?

A new Instagram picture has fans speculating over his love life.

Earlier this week, Matthew Perry announced that he had ended things with his fiancée Molly Hurwitz.

The couple met in 2018 and had been engaged for six months.

In a statement to People Magazine, the Friends actor said “Sometimes things just don’t work out and this is one of them. I wish Molly the best.”

Since then, however, many fans are convinced that Perry has found love again after he posted a picture on Instagram with his assistant Briana Brancato.

In the image, the two are wearing items from Perry’s Chandler merchandise collection. Matthew’s top reads, “Could I be more me?”, while Briana’s says, “Could I have had a longer day?”

In the caption, Perry wrote: “Ready for the long weekend and an even longer bath! After a week like this, I know my team is! Shop the entire collection.”

After seeing this snap, many fans immediately assumed that the two were a couple. However, there is nothing to suggest that the two have anything but a professional relationship.

Elsewhere in the comments section, fans shared that they were pleased to see Matthew looking happy.

One Instagram user wrote: “Glad to see you happy. You deserve all the best Matt!”

Another commented: “Stay strong Matt. I’m so proud of you!”

Others thanked him for his appearance on the Friends reunion, which aired last week,

“He was as funny as ever on the reunion,” said one. “Form is temporary class is permanent.”

Millions of people tuned in to watch the highly-anticipated Friends reunion, which saw Matthew Perry get back together with his cast-mates from the show.

Afterwards, the reunion’s director, Ben Winston defended the actor from unkind comments online.

He told The Hollywood Reporter: “Yes, he was great. People can sometimes just be unkind. I wish they weren’t.”

The director continued: “I loved working with him. He’s a brilliantly funny man and I thought he had some great one-liners on the show.

“I felt just happy and lucky to be in his presence and directing him on something like this.”
