The pair dated for a number of months.
Over the weekend, we learned the devastating news that Mike Thalassitis had passed away.
Mike, who appeared on Love Island 2017, was reportedly found near his home in Essex.
And now, his former girlfriend, Megan McKenna, has posted a message on Instagram, remembering Mike.
“Sorry I haven’t been on social media but I’m in complete shock and trying to come to terms with this,” she wrote.
“I can’t believe I’m even writing this post. My thoughts and prayers are with Mike’s family. Rest in peace Mike x”
However, it seems as though Megan was somewhat forced to release a statement.
Sources close to Megan told The Sun Online she wanted to grieve away from social media.

However she has felt compelled to write a short statement after she was trolled online with people saying she “doesn’t care” about her ex.
Hitting back at the nasty comments, one person defended Megan, saying:
“How dare people have a go at her for not saying anything, I’m sure she is heartbroken and dealing with it in her own way not everything has to be on social media thinking off Megan at this time.”
“Can’t imagine how she feels then to get all this on top off it show some respect!!! And shows all these nasty people making comments are the heartless ones!!! , RIP mike gone to soon!”
