Meghan Markle and Prince Harry just unfollowed all accounts on Instagram and here's why.

As royal fans are aware, the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, co-edited the September issue of British Vogue with the theme 'Forces for Change', featuring fifteen "brilliant female changemakers" including our very own Sinéad Burke. In an announcement made from Sussex Royal, their official Instagram account, the couple explained that they're using the social media platform to discover new "forces for change" and asked their followers for assistance. The post reads:

"For the month of August we look to you for help. We want to know who YOUR Force for Change is.... Each month, we change the accounts we follow to highlight various causes, people or organisations doing amazing things for their communities and the world at large. "Over the next few days please add your suggestions into the comments section: someone you look up to, the organisation doing amazing work that we should all be following, an account that inspires you to be and do better (or that simply makes you feel good), or the handle that brims with optimism for a brighter tomorrow. "We will choose 15 accounts and follow them next Monday, as we spend the month of August acknowledging the Forces for Change in all of our lives".

As the Duke and Duchess explained, they change their Instagram followers every month to highlight various causes, a move some agree with and others not so much. This month's followers will be announced on Monday and of course, the announcement has resulted in much discussion from their many fans with numerous comments appearing on the post since it was first shared.
