Meghan Markle’s New Year’s resolution list from 2016 is the most relatable thing ever

We’ve been there.

We spend so much time obsessing over Meghan Markle and the royal family, sometimes we forget that she was a “commoner” two years ago.

Before meeting Prince Harry, Meghan Markle had a popular lifestyle blog called The Tig.

In this blog, Meghan spoke candidly about personal things, giving readers an insight to her life.

The Tig has since shut down, for obvious reasons, but we still have so much to read.

For example, in 2016 Meghan wrote a post outlining her New Year’s resolutions.

Little did she know, this would also be the year she would fall in love with a prince.

Meghan Markle wrote:

“Run a marathon. Stop biting my nails. Stop swearing. Re-learn French.”

“These make my New Year’s resolution list nearly (AKA actually every) single year. The marathon hasn’t happened. The swearing comes in lulls triggered by being overworked or feeling mighty cheeky after a couple drinks.”

“It still happens with a turbulent flight or a stressful day. It’s unladylike. But then again, so is the swearing. Dammit,” she added.

Imagine Meghan Markle dropping the F bomb in front of the Queen?

Quite unladylike, indeed.
