Meghan Markle will seemingly speak to her father on one condition

Not too much to ask, really.

Meghan Markle will apparently speak to her father again on the condition that he stops speaking to the press. A close family friend of the new Duchess of Sussex has said that Thomas Markle Snr needs to stop giving interviews if he ever wants his daughter to reach out. The source told the Daily Mail that Thomas needs to be "respectful" and contact her in a manner that reflects this. They said:

"The only reason Meghan hasn't spoken to her father yet is because she's yet to hear from him in a respectful manner.

"Thomas is speaking to the press more than he's reached out and spoken to his own daughter. Despite Thomas's claim that he has no way to reach Meghan, he knows that her mother Doria is in touch with her and Thomas knows how to reach Doria."

The source added: "If Thomas truly wanted to speak with Meghan, he could easily have sent a letter to her mother and asked her to pass it along." Fair, yeah. Thomas seemingly hasn't spoken to Meghan since shortly after her marriage to Prince Harry. The 74-year-old then went on to give a series of interviews to the US and UK press where he alleged that he had been "frozen out" of his daughter's life now that she is a member of the royal family.
