The one major difference.

Amidst all the reports of a feud between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton, it has been noted that there's one major difference between the women. One royal expert has shared her opinion on what sets them apart from each other and if you're Team Kate, you probably won't be too happy. According to Claudia Joseph, a royal biographer, Meghan is attempting to bring the royal family into the 21st century, a new era if you will, whereas Kate is supposedly happy to remain as is. It seems that Claudia made the comments during a recent programme aired on BBC, reports The Express. The royal biographer shared her opinion on the difference between Kate and Meghan, saying:

"The reality is people admire Meghan because she’s trying to bring the Royal family into the 21st century".

This is something that the public see with the former Suits actress and it's something they're becoming very fond of.

"(Kate is) very quiet, she’s not trying to change the royal family, she’s not trying to do anything differently, she’s like William".

According to this particular royal expert, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are relatively happy with the current status quo and don't want anything to change too much. Claudia also feels that Kate isn't a fan of being in the limelight so much and even despite the fact that she has been to so many royal engagements, the attention isn't something she's overly comfortable with.

"She doesn’t like the publicity, she doesn’t like to be in the public eye".

The Duchess of Sussex is familiar with the media having worked as an actress for many years, giving numerous interviews and attending numerous events and functions. Thirty-seven-year-old Meghan has long been involved in charity work and has given public speeches in front of huge audiences so it stands to reason that she would be at ease with these appearances, unlike Kate who was catapulted into the public eye when she and William began their relationship.
