There is a member of the royal family rumoured to be going on I’m A Celeb

Imagine the goss.

It seems that a member of the royal family is heading into the jungle and hoping to take on a new regal title.

Rugby player Mike Tindall, who is married to Princess Anne’s daughter Zara, has reportedly signed on to be a part of the new series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here later this year.

If the rumours are true, the 43 year old will be the contestant with the biggest connection to the royal family ever to be on the show, but ITV has yet to confirm anything.

As the husband of a royal, the deal with the show is being kept top secret but if he does appear on our screens in November, we can bet we’ll get some juicy gossip about the family.

“It’s a massive coup. Mike has had a box seat for some of the most important moments in royal history for generations.”

“He is sure to be discreet but his sheer presence means this series will be an absolute must-watch,” a source told The Sun.

This wouldn’t be the first reality TV series Mike has appeared on as he was in a series of The Jump in 2015.

But if these rumours to end up to be true and he appears on the show, there will be some other big names he’ll be competing with to be crowned King Of The Jungle.

Also rumoured to be joining the show is Boy George and controversial comedian Seann Walshe as well as DJ Chris Moyles.

Other people also rumoured to be on the show this year is Love Islands’ Olivia Attwood as well as Coronation Street actress Sue Cleaver and Hollyoaks’ Owen Warner.

An ITV spokesperson refused to confirm the rumours, telling the Mail Online: “Any names suggested for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! are just speculation. We will officially announce our lineup for the new series nearer its transmission.”
