Michelle Keegan Has Spilled the Beans On Her Workout Routine

The stunner is apparently doing a post-wedding detox

It appears the honeymoon is well and truly over for Michelle Keegan and it’s back to the daily (cardio) grind. 

The brunette beauty has spilled the beans on her workout routine.

The star loves the post-gym buzz. 

The 28-year-old took a well-deserved four-week break from her fitness regime for her wedding to Mark Wright but is now back in the gym in a big way.

In her latest Hello! magazine column, Michelle admitted that she is a master procrastinator when it comes to working out and will distract herself by doing “household chores, chatting to friends on the phone and watching paint dry.” (We hear you Michelle!)

Michelle is a big fan of cardio. 

The former Corrie actress explained that “after a month of relaxing, eating whatever I wanted and having the odd cocktail here and there, it’s back to the gym for me.”

In order to ease herself back into a program, the newlywed started by going to the gym three times a week and admitted to aching the next day “in a good way”.

She wrote: “I wanted to do a bit of cardio to kick start my body again, and although I have said many, many times before that I hate doing exercise – I love the buzz it gives me afterwards and after a few weeks of hard work I can see the changes in my body so it makes it worthwhile.”

Michelle and Mark Wright wed last month. 

The newlywed explained that she jogs for 15 minutes, goes on the step machine for 10 minutes and follows that up with 10 minutes of walking on the curve runner.

Then she takes to the kettle bells and medicine ball to complete some strengthening exercises. (We’re tired just thinking about it.)

Michelle showed off her toned tum in honeymoon snaps. 

There’s no expensive personal trainers for this TV star, as she revealed she prefers to train herself with just some loud music.

She added: “I also did my own circuit which is none stop exercise for 15 mins. This involves lunges, push ups, star jumps and box squats.”

The star showed off her enviable figure on honeymoon in Dubai and the Maldives following her star-studded wedding ceremony last month.
