She's going out with a bang.

Her character Tina McIntyre might be set for a brutal death but Michelle Keegan is planning a much less sombre tone for her Coronation Street leaving party.

The popular actress is leaving the soap to move to Essex with fiancé Mark Wright and, according to the Sunday World, has informed her colleagues that she’ll mark her departure with a chav-themed fancy dress party fancy dress party for 100 members of cast and crew.

“Tina is chavvy. It’s all in good humour and a celebration of her character,” said a source. “It is a wake for Tina but also a leaving party as Michelle is moving away from Manchester.”

Keegan had previously spoken out about her dislike for Tina’s style on the show and said she won’t miss the tacky outfits once she has moved on.

“I can’t wait! She hasn’t got the best style in the world has she? She’s a bit chavvy and dresses down a lot. Every time I see a new outfit, I just think ‘I don’t care – it’s not me, it’s Tina, bless her!’ and put it on.”

Keegan and Wright recently postponed their wedding due to their busy schedules but it seems they are as loved-up as ever, with the former TOWIE star visiting the Corrie set to watch his fianceé film her final scenes for the soap.
