Miley Cyrus Flaunts New Pilates Body on Twitter

We can forgive Miley Cyrus for being excited about showing off her new body to the world on Twitter.

The 19-year old singer seems intent on parading her new shape on the social networking site as she tweets a photo of herself and her beloved dog.

The American popstar has worked incredibly hard to shed the pounds and tone up and she said there is a rarely a day that she doesn't go to the gym.

We don't blame Miley for showing off her newly-toned figure on Twitter.

Cyrus posted a photo of herself wearing a cropped t-shirt and a low-slung sheer skirt yesterday on the site, drawing attention to her newly-toned washboard stomach.

She visits instructor Mari Winsor several times a week to maintain her new figure.

Miley posted a photo of herself wearing some vintage pyjama pants last month, modelling her new toned figure.

Now, Pilates guru Winsor has released her own do-it-yourself Pilates DVD, giving everyone the chance to peek into the world of Pilates and see what the secrets are.

Winsor said results come from commitment, hard work and everyday workouts.

She told website FitSugar she thinks the celebrity fad for the fitness regime began because they know it is safe, effective and the results are fast when done correctly.

She explains that, with Pilates, your abs are always engaged, even if you are concentrating on your hips, thighs or glutes.

Besides her daily Pilates regime, the young star caused a bit of controversy on Twitter earlier in the year as she proclaimed that a gluten and lactose-free diet was the secret behind her new, much smaller frame.

She wrote in April; “Everyone should try no gluten for a week! The change in your skin, physical and mental health is amazing. You won't go back!”
