Miley Cyrus won’t call Liam Hemsworth her fiancé and the word she uses is SO much better

Apparently, Miley Cyrus doesn’t call Liam Hemsworth her fiancé.

You might be a little confused after hearing this because they’re engaged and planning to get married but it turns out that Miley has a much better alternative.

Miley prefers to call Liam her partner and yeah, that makes a lot of sense to be fair.

The popular singer and actress revealed this in a recent interview and explained why she refers to the Hunger Games actor as her “survival partner”.

Chatting on The Howard Stern Show, Miley explained:

“My partner, I call him my survival partner now. He thinks it’s not romantic, but I learned that it is. That is why you pair up with someone, for survival, and he was so incredible”.

They live in Malibu and their home was destroyed as a result of the Californian wildfires last month.

At the time of the fire, Miley was away and Liam managed to save all their animals from danger and for this, Miley is eternally grateful to her partner.

“He got all the animals out in his truck”.

Oh and ‘all the animals’ includes seven dogs, four horses, two pigs, and three cats -0 pretty impressive, we think you’ll find.

Miley then added a little bit of lighthearted humour to the situation by saying that Liam got a “lot of action” after this so she could make sure he knew how grateful she was.

The Wrecking Balls singer is never one to mince her words and on this occasion, she definitely didn’t hold back.

At the moment, Miley and Liam are living in Nashville as they’re not quite ready to return and rebuild their house from scratch and in the meantime, they have donated $500,000 to the fire relief efforts.
