Mindy Kaling Shares a Pretty Powerful Message about Love

We've always had a lot of time for Mindy Kaling but even more so now the actress has given some pretty epic advice. The Mindy Project star was recently interviewed by Good Housekeeping and spoke about her love life and how her priorities have changed considerably from when she was younger.

"When I was younger, I wanted so badly to be married and have kids in a rush".

 Mindy went on to say: "I don't need marriage. I don't need anyone to take care of all my needs and desires. I can take care of them myself now."

We really hope we're not the only ones with the Independent Women song in our heads thanks to Mindy's words of wisdom.

Revealing that she is single but "dating", Mindy went on to talk about how the first few weeks of a relationship are pretty special.

"If I could relive the first three months of courtship over and over for the rest of my life, I would.

"Especially in winter, who doesn't like a nice heavy seven-course meal with lots of alcohol, then making out when you're a little tipsy and taking a cab home to fall asleep in the clothes you wore on the date?"
