Actress and writer Mindy Kaling have recently revealed why we won’t be hearing about her child’s father any time soon.
The first-time mum gave birth to her daughter Katherine last year but many wondered who her daughter’s father is as Mindy was single at the time of her pregnancy.
Kaling has kept silent on her child’s paternity and recently spoke about why she’s keeping it private.

Personally, I don’t think her need to keep the information private from the public needs explaining. While the actress herself is in the public eye her personal life, especially regarding her child, is completely her business and no one else’s.
Speaking to the New York Times, Mindy said:
“My feeling is, that until I speak to my daughter [about her paternity], I’m not going to talk to anyone else about it.”
Fair enough.
Many feel that Kaling may have used a sperm donor to become a mother, which may very well be the case, but regardless it’s still only a matter for Kaling and her daughter.
