More Details About Jennifer Aniston’s Engagement Have Been Revealed!

We’re sorry Brad and Angelina, but when it comes to celebrity weddings, there’s just one engagement that we want to know all the details about. That engagement, ladies, is the one that just took place between the lovely Jennifer Aniston and her beau Justin Theroux.

You want some more details about how Justin popped the question to his favourite “friend”? (see what we did there? Hah!)  Well, we’ve got them!

The Irish Independent reports that Jennifer accepted Justin’s proposal over a romantic dinner at a restaurant in New York.

The couple, who have been dating for more than a year, recently confirmed that they will soon be swapping vows after Justin got down on bended knee on his 41st birthday. Aw.

Apparently, Jen and Justin’s big moment took place in a restaurant in Greenwich Village, the super-trendy area of the Big Apple. According to various reports, the engagement took place in the Blue Hill restaurant, however, when asked about what happened, a spokesperson for the wedding remained coy and would only say:

“We are thrilled about the news of their engagement, but we cannot comment on any guests.”

Fair enough.

While the restaurant is remaining tight-lipped, yesterday Life & Style magazine revealed a little bit of info about the new rock that Jen is wearing on her left hand.

“It’s a rectangle with tapered diamond baguettes on the sides. It’s beautiful,” said a source, speaking to the magazine.

The source also added that the emerald-cut ring was probably around eight carats. Not too shabby, right?

Jen has yet to be seen wearing her ring in public, but we’ll keep you posted and let you know as soon as the first pictures surface.
