Diplo has accused Taylor Swift of being “strategic” when it comes to making celebrity friends.
The Shake It Off singer is known for being close friends with stars including model Karlie Kloss, Girls star Lena Dunham and singer Lorde but the music producer has suggested there is more to her newfound bonding that simply having things in common.
The 36-year-old, who previously dated Swift’s ‘frenemy’ Katy Perry, told GQ that he knows “lots of secrets” about the star.
“Taylor Swift is very strategic with her friends and enemies. And I know lots of secrets. I can’t divulge, but I know a lot of stuff about her. And I’m scared. I’m scared for my life.”
He added that the singer’s fans were “really crazy. They threatened to murder me and stuff. It’s really bizarre, and disgusting. They’re the worst people in the world”.
