Yikes.
As X Factor fans will know, Nick Grimshaw was a judge on the 2015 series of X Factor but earlier this year, it was announced that he would not return for a second stint.
According to reports, former judge Nicole Scherzinger is likely to make a comeback for this year’s series although this has not yet been confirmed.
Whether this information has anything to do with the remark Nick reportedly made about Nicole’s pop career is anyone’s guess.
Spotted on Digital Spy, the radio DJ is thought to have made the below comment during his Radio 1 Breakfast Show yesterday morning.
There was a round up during the show, which included a little bit of chat about the X Factor and afterwards Nick set about choosing some music.
Apparently he said: “Shall we have some Beyoncé since we had Beyoncé in the news?
“I mean, we did speak about other musicians, but no-one wants to hear a Nicole Scherzinger record”.
