Rumours have it Nicky Byrne will be taking to the dance floor on this year’s Strictly Come Dancing.
But the former Westlife singer said that, as yet, nothing has been decided: ‘I’ve had lots of different meetings but there is nothing in stone.’
As we reported last week the singer does want to continue working in show business preferably as a television presenter.
The Irish Daily Star reported this morning that the 33 year old said ‘I want to stay in the entertainment industry as it’s all I’ve ever known.
‘Mainstream TV presenting with big shows and shiny floors is where I want to be.’
While he has high hopes Nicky also admits to wanting to keep his feet on Irish ground: ‘I’ve always seen Ireland as my home.’
And while we certainly love to hear that, we wouldn’t mind if those feet took an extended trip over the UK for Strictly Come Dancing.
