Derry Girls star Nicola Coughlan just clapped back at fashion critics in the most UNREAL way

Okay so the Derry Girls gals were all the BAFTAs over the weekend, looking gorgeous.

The stunning Nicola Coughlan, who plays Claire Devlin in the show, wore a lovely midi-length pink dress.

And in our opinion, she looked class.

The Galway girl said that she felt like a “bardot Barbie” on the night, and we totally see it.

However, she has been getting quite a bit of criticism for her look, which we just don’t agree with.

One style reviewer from the Daily Mirror said that Nicola’s choice was “not the most flattering”.

Anyway, being a total Twitter queen anyway, the actress clapped back in the most stunning way.

“I mean incorrect Daily Mirror. I look smokin, sorry ’bout it,” she said in response to the comments.

“This really talented actress is up for an award, it should be the highlight of her career, and instead of being judged on her acting she’s being judged on her dress, size and shape.

“It’s just really symptomatic of the misogyny out there that women’s achievements can be swept aside with the focus on how they look.
