Nicole Scherzinger is Still Waiting for One Direction to buy her Some Flowers

There’s nothing wrong with getting a little appreciation every now and then, is there ladies? It’s always nice to know when someone is grateful for the hard work we’ve put in.

Unfortunately for former-Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger, One Direction are a little bit forgetful in the appreciation department. Uh-oh…

The Belfast Telegraph reports that the X-Factor judge has joked that she is still waiting for flowers from One Direction after she helped to put them on the road to victory when they appeared on the X-Factor two years ago.

But flowers or no flowers, Nicole is apparently thrilled that the boys from 1D have become so successful and she said that their rise to fame has been “wonderful.”

Nicole claims she helped to put One Direction on the path to fame.

“It’s crazy to see how massive they are. They just performed at the Olympics and it just feels like yesterday we were auditioning them,” she said.

Sigh. They grow up so fast, don’t they? We remember back in the day when they first auditioned and were all solo performers. Memories!

“I haven’t received flowers yet. I’m waiting,” added Nicole.

Given the fact that One Direction are currently busy touring and recording, we wouldn’t be holding our breath for those flowers if we were you Nicole but who knows? Maybe you’ll help set up another boy band this year…
