They split last year and yesterday it was reported that Ashton Kutcher had finally filed for divorce but now it has emerged that the whole thing could be on hold again because Demi Moore wants more money!
According to reports proceedings between the two stars, who called it a day on their marriage last year, have stalled because the G.I. Jane actress wants a similar settlement to what she got from her divorce from Bruce Willis.
Ashton filed for divorce yesterday but proceeding have apparently hit a blip.
TMZ was told by a source: “The sticking point in the divorce has been that Demi wanted the same type of settlement from Ashton that she got from Bruce Willis.” Surely though, Bruce would have been worth a lot more than Ashton now!
Anyway, the claims have not been confirmed but as everybody knows the economic intricacies of celebrity divorces are very rarely divulged. Even still, it’s another strange twist in the separation that looks like it might never happen.
This will be Demi's second divorce. She was previously married to Bruce Willis.
Ashton and Demi’s split has been surrounded by controversy due to rumours of his infidelity during their marriage along with her stint in rehab and issues with her daughters following the break-up.
The couple tied the knot back in 2005 but were unable to go the distance. Ashton is now dating Mila Kunis while Demi has had a number of brief flings.
