More big changes on The X Factor.

Just a year after taking over the hosting duties from Dermot O’Leary, Olly Murs has confirmed he’s leaving The X Factor. This news comes after his co-host Caroline Flack was axed and judge Nick Grimshaw quit the show.

Yesterday Olly’s future on the show was in doubt after he hinted at a departure from the show but today it’s officially been confirmed that he won’t be returning so that he can concentrate on his music.

Olly’s rep released this statement to The Sun, “This was an incredibly hard decision to make and one I didn’t take lightly as I’ve really enjoyed co-hosting The X Factor.

“It’s been one big adventure and I loved every minute of it. But my heart belongs to music and I want to concentrate 100 per cent on making my next album and getting back to performing.”
