One Direction Star Comes Under Fire After Posing With Gun

One Direction's Liam Payne has become embroiled in controversy after posing for a photo with a rifle. The image, which shows Payne posing with members of the cast of reality show Duck Dynasty and carrying a gun, was reportedly posted to Twitter by a friend of the boyband star, who later added another update saying "Today I shot a gun at a clay disc thing and I loved it". However, the photo received a backlash from fans, with the Daily Mail quoting Directioners as saying 'Thanks for glamourising America's gun crisis that literally kills countless numbers of innocent people" and "It's not funny to hold a gun, because every day thousands of people die by gunfire!". Liam has yet to comment on the controversy but previously expressed his frustration at criticism from fans when he tweeted Duck Dynasty star Willie Robertson to express his love for the show.
