Yes, really.

One of the stars of Mean Girls has joined the highly anticipated music video for Ariana Grande’s new song, Thank U, Next.

The 25-year-old is going to be paying tribute to some of the most iconic movies from the noughties with the music video – including 13 Going on 30, Legally Blonde, Bring it On and, of course, Mean Girls.

Now, it turns out that Jonathan Bennett – who played Lindsay Lohan’s on-screen love interest, Aaron Samuels, in the 2004 comedy – is making a cameo in the video.

Ariana shared a group snapshot from the Mean Girls-inspired part of the video – with everyone in full costume, naturally – and it’s making us seriously nostalgic.

Dynasty actress Elizabeth Gilles also features in the group photo, appearing to take on the Lindsay Lohan’s role, Cady Heron.

Courtney Chipolone and Alexa Luria, two of Ariana’s closest friends, also feature in the picture.

In another behind-the-scenes shot, Ariana hinted that Jennifer Coolidge – who featured as Elle Woods’ sassy pal, Pauletta, in Legally Blonde – is also set to make a cameo in the clip.
