TV3 presenter Sinéad Desmond has blasted the “charming individual” who called the Irish papers to tell them of her split from husband David Ryan.
The popular Ireland AM presenter issued a statement through her agent Noel Kelly yesterday to say that she and David has parted ways after six years together, including four years of marriage.
At the time Sinéad said: “There is no-else involved. David is a wonderful guy and we are still great friends.
She added: “This is a private and personal matter and we hope you respect our privacy at this time. There will be no further comment from either David or myself.”
But there has been further comment, and it came from Sinéad earlier this evening on social networking site Twitter.
The presenter took to her personal page to say thanks to her many fans and followers for their kind words following the split, but in a second tweet warned that an unnamed individual faced karma for spilling the beans…

Reports suggest that Sinéad and David had been apart for five months when the split was officially announced yesterday, and now it seems as though Sinéad only spoke out now to have control of the story.
A number of hours after that post Sinéad was back online to again say thanks for the support she has received.

The presenter was not on her normal co-hosting duties on this morning's Ireland AM.
